In short

Nothing here is a quote, a scope or an engineering opinion. TrenchPoint arranges introductions, carries out no excavation, sets no prices and is not party to any agreement you reach with a contractor, and it makes no claim about what the lateral at any particular address is made of.

TrenchPoint is a referral service, not a contractor. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands. Every state page sets out who licenses plumbers there and where to check, so you can confirm before work begins. We do not perform excavation or repair, we do not set prices, and we never charge homeowners anything — the contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call.

What this site is

General information about sewer laterals, drawn from public data and cited sources. It is not an inspection, a diagnosis or advice about your specific property. A buried pipe cannot be assessed from a build year, and nothing here should be treated as a substitute for someone putting a camera down the run.

Referrals

We connect callers with independent contractors. Those contractors are not our employees or agents. Any agreement, quote, warranty or dispute is between you and them. We are paid by the contractor for the referral and never by you.

Accuracy

Census figures are estimates and are stated as such. Material history is cited where it is used. If something here is wrong, tell us at hello@nxtaflow.com and we will correct it.

Before anybody excavates.A camera survey is a different instruction from a repair, and the order matters. Tell us what the drain is doing and we will route you to somebody who covers your area. No charge to you, ever. Anything else the plumbing is doing can be raised on that call too.
